And The Journey Begins...
Every year Triumph Freerunning tries to attend and help with t.i.t. jam. this time around David, Loki, Ryan, Claire and myself all took a week and spent it in Colorado.
when driving long distances i recommend taking shifts on driving so that way you can save time by driving all the way through with no stops other than getting gas and when we get gas is when we use the rest rooms and get small snacks.
(15) Fifteen hours later we arrive and get counted in and wait around for the rest of the athletes to get to the Lobeck's.
Monitou Memorial Park
we head to Monitou Memorial Park to get a head start on the day and get some footage. Soon as we get there we scope out some runs and practice them. As we do them we attract people wondering what we are doing. so we tell the story of T.I.T. how we are doing back flip for bucks which is each time we do one flip you donate $1.00 to the great cause.
Water Fall Initiation
After several hours at Memorial Park in Monitou Springs we head on to the water fall initiation! This water fall was absolutely crazy, hard, intense and it put the beat down haha. So after everyone got beat up by the water fall, we took a group selfie! This amazing picture was taken by Emily Abernathy from Texas. She also has a YouTube so be sure to watch her! I got the chance to meet her and her boy Blain Bigelow which are two awesome and genuine people. Thanks for letting me use your picture, Emily!

After the long day at Monitou Springs with Memorial Park and the water fall we all come back to camp and eat dinner with our group discussion before we go to bed. The group discussions were always a great time. We got to know one another better, discussed life, how the day went, how we feel, dreams, expressed our feelings to one another and so much more.
After the long day of Monitou Springs, we head up to the next day of awesome stuff at Cottonwood Park! This place is awesome and I'm sure if you get the chance to see it, you will love it. Once that sun was beaming in the tree house we woke up, got breakfast and headed out with the rest of the crew!
Cottonwood Creek PArk
Here's Lorena Abreu from Team Rilla Hops busting out a nice cat leap! She worked on this for so long, good hour and half and finally got it! She is one dedicated little lady, so congrats Lorena! It was great meeting you and Gareth Norvell - Keep up the great work.
Garden Of The Gods
After a few hours at Cottonwood most of the crew went on to Apex which we were going to the following week anyhow, so we skipped and checked out Garden of the Gods.
Who's Ready For Some Rawkus?
After Garden of the Gods we then head back to camp for dinner and get ready for the shows that Justin has all planned out for us, so who's ready for some Flobots!?!? For those of who don't know who these dudes are, you can check out their Facebook and website for further details. After eating we head to Rawkus where the concert was being held. The place is totally awesome! Has room to get down and busy with some dancing, break dancing, flips and so much more, and a nice cozy chill spot with couches and lazy boys.
Lazer and Levi's music is totally touching and they're a bunch of cool dudes! Be sure to check their Facebook and website out for much more. :) They would love you for it. Thanks for taking the time to take a picture with me dudes, keep up the great music. Keep spreading love. Hope to see you next year.
Wednesday was probably one of the longest days there was, filled with Cottonwood for hours, then Garden of the Gods for more training and filming, then the Flobots concert at Rawkus till about 1am and then back to camp to crash out!
I want to give a huge thanks for Flobots taking the time to take pictures, signatures, and so much more. Thanks guys, you were all great and hope to hear more from you! You ready for Thursday?!
Everyone Deserves A Lazy Day
Thursday was nothing but a rest day for everyone, after three days of going ham, filming, helping film, walking, and so much more,
we decided to take this time to mingle around and talk to people, have great discussions, play Magic: The Gathering, wash clothes, play testicle tag, and showers since it's been three days since any of us had a shower - Haha!
The Cottonwood Creek Recreation Center which is next to Cottonwood park is a great place for showers:
A Little Tricking and Dragons
After a days worth of lazy we head to Flipshack for the tricking battle! Be sure to check out Flipshacks's website for further information.
We didn't stay long for this because we did a special video job in the mountains at Palmer Park with Noah - it was a blast! Palmer Park is so huge, so massive you will totally love the stop here and the chance to be able to get some awesome footage and pictures, so be sure to explore much as you can. We stayed out very late. if I recall I believe it was 2-am so after our fire show we head back to camp to sleep and wake up for Paradise Cove!
Here's To Some Paradise
Paradise Cove is a huge watering hole - if you wanted to swim or explore the mountains. So, some of us chilled and explored while others were swimming and jumping.
As the day ends at Paradise Cove we head out and back to the camp for dinner and then the group discussion.
T.I.T. Jam 2014: Competition
Saturday is a big day for a lot of athletes because its competition day! Some of them were excited, nervous and just ready to have fun.
The comp was set with two athletes teaming together. One was the speed guy and the other was the style guy. The speed guy starts from beginning and to the end as fast as he can. The style guy can start anywhere he wants and the more flips, spins and big moves he does will knock off seconds for the speed guy. Pretty cool system we all got together. So, after set up, getting security stationed, walk-through of the course, and informational topics around the premises we began.
After the comp we headed to the Bear Creek Regional Park to have a bbq and some relaxation time before we start packing our things up and spending our last night in Colorado.

And As It Comes To An End..
I totally love these two people, Alexis and Noah! Some of my favorite people, even though Noah is terrible with names after knowing these two for two years now - haha. He works very hard on getting the greatest shots for videos so give him some love and visit his Facebook page. He's also going to be editing the official T.I.T. Jam video, so be sure to keep an eye out on his YouTube channel!
All the ladies who participated in t.i.t. jam 2014
Alexis is so dedicated towards T.I.T that she spend hours and days learning how to do a back flip so she can do back flip for bucks! So, give her a shout! She is also a great artist! Thanks guys, for everything!
Big thanks to the DJ who played some sick tunes during the competition! Anyone who trains alone knows its great to have music while we train, so thanks my man!
A big thanks to Path Movement for supplying some awesome equipment and obstacles for us.
A big thanks goes to my group, Ryan, David, Claire, and Loki! Thanks guys, for everything that happened during the two weeks in Colorado! It's great to know if any one of us gets in a small jam, we are there to pick each other up, so thanks again!! I had an awesome time you guys and can't wait for what is next!
A awesome thanks for anyone who let me use their photos, I couldn't make this blog bomb without you! I can take many as i can, but then I wouldn't have time to train, so thank you so much for letting me use them. If i didn't credit properly, please let me know.
Give a huge thanks to all the parks staff, state of Colorado, and anyone else involved for letting us train in the spots we did, thanks!
That is something admiring, someone who actually cares what you feel, the water fall for example, he wants to know what you felt when you went under it, what happened, what did you feel, were you scared to go in at first, etc. The community truly cares about your feelings, and that is why this jam means the world to me. I can go there, be myself, do whatever, and be walked in the steps as the community did, truly amazing and special. I'm not that great with words, but I hope this helps those of who haven't been to T.IT. wanna go, and those of who have been, are moved by my words. We have a crazy and amazing video for you soon but in the meantime check Dylan Wade's video (He did a great job at capturing the spirit of T.I.T Jam!) he filmed and edited while you wait for ours and the official T.I.T. Jam video by Noah.
Thanks once again!
After all the back flip for bucks, online donations, and Flobot concert we raised $4,500 for boobs, the awareness of the cancer and hopefully a cure.
