Nicknamed the “Sunshine State,” it has hundreds of miles of beaches. Miami is known for its Latin flavor and influential arts scene, as well as its nightlife, especially in upscale South Beach. Orlando is famed for theme parks, including Walt Disney World.
I wanted to live a little so i decided to get a few friends together and took a seven (7) day and one heck of a tour to Florida!
So soon as we get there, we have family in Apollo Beach. It was really nice to crash with them for couple days and we're so thankful for them. Here we are at a sports bar getting some food at Shenaniganz Grill and Chill so check them out at their facebook page, great place and great staff. There's really nothing going down here, just where they live, so we didn't really look for spots to hit but if you come across some, please let us know! :D
For those who don't know, the "Tampa Stride" is a very popular spot in Tampa. This is where you see Daniel Arroyo, Marvin Ross and many others kong pre to it, front to front and many other crazy cool things. If the map doesn't help out much, be sure to google for Curtis Hixon Park. So, definitley go check this spot out! :D
Considering it was my (Jeremy) first time ever to see the beach we took a day to have a beach day. We did some flips here and there, swam in the ocean, explored, and had a nice frisbee session.
After the day of the beach, our bodies rested and got our camp together we hit up a popular spot when the Red Bull Art of Motion hit Tampa, so we checked it out and did some flippy stuff.
After some time traveling downtown Tampa we went to University of South Florida! You best be checking this place out, there is so much to do and so much to explore. I'm sure we didn't get to see everything but be sure to check out the crazy tree that's there.
As night falls, we get some nice shots of the sunset , a bit of the night life, and set up camp at Cocoa and get ready for Orlando!
As we stay all day in Orlando the night life rolls around, we walk, run, jump, fly and kong all over the place, we wanted a great picture from somewhere at the top of a building so we do what we can and come across a hotel and we get all the way to the top, and just simply taking the emergency exit we find ourselves at a VIP roof top and its pretty beast, so we took the opportunity to take a dip in the hot tub and pool!
After a days worth in Orlando we pick up camp and head to Daytona Beach. Great place to be, it's always hopping and great place to train. Just start at one end and go to the other, you will for sure find some great spots. We parked at the Subway to stay away from all the heavy traffic and high prices for parking.
After everything was all done, dead from all the training, the walking, jumping, and..being super sun burned, i couldn't walk haha. I got a case of sun poisoning! It was no fun but i did get bit of a small tan. Thanks for reading and we will keep you more updated on the places we travel so you can also check these spots out.
