This post is a bit different than the other Motivation Monday's because I went through a hard time with opening TRIUMPH FREERUNNING ACADEMY. Even though this is a hard time with many tears I now find it motivational. We went through a lot through the journey of the gym and I can say that I have learned a lot and also changed me for the better. Whatever you're going through in life might suck now but it'll be worth it when you really need it to count. It started out to be a great day, it was a bit gloomy out but still fun with Claire and Ryan. We decided to go out and get an ice cream and come back to the gym but a huge storm passed through so we stopped at the Wehrenburg Theatre to let it pass. When we left to go back to the gym we noticed trees laying on the ground, roofs off buildings, and could only hope it wasn't our gym's. April 9th, 2015 roughly at 7:00PM we experienced a very devastating storm that couldn't be any worse time to happen especially when we were very close to opening. From sacrificing our time to hang with friends and family to working extended hours at a job we didn't like at the same time working at the gym. To getting no sleep, letting health go, and having no vehicle. If you all only knew the amount of crazy stuff we had to go through. It's very hard to work with the state, city and county but we are getting very close to opening. We have a set back with this storm and we are at a loss with so much. First things first, I want to thank everyone for taking their time and clicking this link. We appreciate every bit of support from you all. The community around us is absolutely amazing.
My team and I here at Triumph have been working very hard for the past nine months to bring Missouri it's very first parkour and freerunning academy. Our expected opening date was May 1st.
Unfortunately on April 9th, 2015 at 7 pm Chesterfield, MO was hit by a massive but short storm in which brought a tornado to our facility. We lost a lot in damages and due to not being open yet, insurance will only cover so much. So we are asking you (the community) for your help, to help us get back on our feet and ready to open up.
For donating you will receive some awesome perks we have for you. If you can't donate, it would mean the world to us if you shared this link and video to your friends and family.
Thank you very much!
(FYI, Footage shown in the video of the gym, is the only footage we have before the storm came.
Go ahead and give it a like! If you did then pass it on to someone else who may find it helpful and be sure to check out MOTIVATION MONDAY'S: HOW TO APPLY FOR A SPONSOR.
