are you living in a bubble of air?
If you’ve done a traditional 5K, you know they can be a bit bland and always a battle, But the BUBBLE RUN™ is like running through Willy Wonkas’ factory. rigged out in white t-shirts, adults, kids and strollers run, walk, dance and whatever across 3 miles of awesome fun, I felt like I was six again - haha! There were so manny people there (we got there about 35 minutes early) so they let us go in Waves every couple minutes. Then, at each 0.621 mile OR 3280.8 feet participants will run through the Foam machines where there is enough colored foam to cover you from head to toe, and I mean HEAD TO TOE! There were times where the foam is literally over my head and I couldn't see anything at times as if I were in a cave and all the lights went out only it was white! It was a lot of fun and be sure to not get too excited because the bubbles don't taste that great, but it's 100% safe!
party in a bubble!
Could you imagine feeling what a cloud would feel like or being inside onE? Well, The race seems like you get to have that feeling and it's magical The entire time But! once you cross the finish line, there’s still plenty of excitement and activity because what they have in store is so awesome ~ hahaha! Jam out and dance to the DJ’s, get some free swag and get ready to get a serious dose of extra foam! Then strut around like a duck sporting your bubble run swag! Or you maybe want to chill and take in the sight. If you have any further questions about your registration, active account, if you may bring your pet, and anything else hit the contact button to reach the bubble run team.
what is a bubble run to me
The best thing about the bubble run is that there's no time limit! There is nothing competitive about it other than seeing who has the biggest foam beard and most color on them after the race! There’s no timing so you wont have to worry on loosing on any money or gaining a trophy. no timing clock and no placement awards. You can walk this thing, run, duck walk and whatever you wanna do, just do you. I seen mother and fathers with strollers here and kids of all ages! Just a great excuse to come out, gather up an orgy of friends and family and just have fun doing something healthy! It was super awesome to talk to Robert and Kylie and talk about anything and everything! Talk about life. plans. goals. work! Whatever while just having a blast in bubbles!
bubble run st. louis 2017 vlog
downtown to clown
After the bubble run we busted out with plans headed back to Chesterfield and get something to eat. We went to Wendy's for breakfast because it was still early afterwards dropping Robert and his girlfriend Kylie at best buy where their car is. I was putting together the bubble run vlog that same day while I waited for Ryan to get off work and met him in West Port headed to Downtown St. Louis for a shoot for his portfolio and some urban exploring.
We stopped by some areas around downtown and stopped at a random spot because Ryan seen a potential kong gainer attempt, so we stopped by and tested it out while we both get some training in. We moved around a few more spots in downtown and some popular spots and we took photos a long the way, we pretty much had our own photo walk! We stopped at a couple roof tops and headed to more towards the Arch because we really don't spend much time there so we stopped at the City Garden and got a few shots and some training in. We moved spots probably every couple hours and we went more towards the river and checked out an old abandoned office building out. The last time we were here it looked very different because of the massive fire dammage. I don't know what really went on or what it was called, but it appeared to be an office building with cabals and large printers. This place is litteraly falling down, slowly because it was very sketchy to be here. The floor could have collapsed just beneath us or the ceiling even fall through because of so much fire damage and even now water damage.IT was definatly worth it because I have some fresh content coming! It was about 8pm Ryan Zeff Gregory and I ended our day with some light training at a popular parkour spot here in st. louis called the sanctuary. Remember to check out the vlog of the day to get a better feel on how the adventure was.
