WELCOME TO ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
St. Louis is a major city in Missouri along the Mississippi River. Its iconic, 630-ft. Gateway Arch, built in the 1960s, honors the early 19th-century explorations of Lewis and Clark and America's westward expansion in general. Replica paddlewheelers ply the river, offering views of the arch. The Soulard district is home to barbeque restaurants and clubs playing blues music.
A man's heart may have a secret sanctuary where only one woman may enter, but it is full of little anterooms which are seldom vacant.
As much as it's hard to get up early especially considering the only day that I get off is Sunday's Ryan and I got up early enough to get some breakfast and start heading to pick up Rebecca Jane, before we picked her up we stopped by the Best Buy that I work to get Ryan an AUX cable for his car so we had some good tunes to listen to while we were driving around. After picking Rebecca we busted downtown and the first place we hit up was the sanctuary which is a popular parkour spot in the St. Louis community.
you've gotta blow the roof off your heart before you can let the universe in
AFter spending some time at the sanctuary we were stopped by a fan and he wanted to show us some other spots in the apartment complex like the roof! While we were up there we got to see the arch in a different perspective and got some really nice photos before we got kicked off the roof.
home is where the arch is
Downtown St. louis has so much stuff to check out and explore which can cost you nothing or maybe $30+ depending on what you do, if you're looking for little to nothing or free then there is a lot to explore. You can check out the city garden, city museum, and of course the Arch! There is so much free things to do in downtown so we checked out this abandoned turtle park and a building that was close by. The turtle park was actually going to be something like the city museum but Cassily died and that has now remained as abandoned. Check out my wandering Wednesday over cement land and who cassily is to get a better idea of who he is and what he has done before he died.
go fuck yourself
AFter our long day of exploring downtown and seeing some new things we decided to meet Shawn Lankford in Chesterfield for a five star movie, and since we're all nerds we watched Logan! Based In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces. The film was really good and I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of wolverine like me, I mean regenerating after any kind of blow would be pretty badass, right?
