Spring Break Is Here
Happy New Years guys! Wait, it's March - haha So! Who all got messed up on New Years? I have a small video on it but for privacy reasons I have to keep it as "private". There's all these holidays leading up to Spring it's really crazy. Who here celebrated Hero's Day? I never really heard of it myself but I would probably bet traditionally you would celebrate maybe a war veteran, maybe a passed loved one, or someone famous. Personally, I would probably celebrate Spider-Man or some fictional character just because I think Spider-Man is a bad-ass! Oh! Since I'm getting way into these vlogs I have really cool ideas for Independence Day this year! Well it's past Lincoln's birthday, World Radio Day, and of course Valentines Day where all you sexy ass romantics out there do some special thing for your loved ones. You probably even watched that 50 Shakes of Greg..wait, was it Greg? Heck! What about Presidents Day? The past couple months have been really crazy actually with that being some good days, some bad days, and "eh" days. Just in the last couple months I have explored an abandoned college campus with Rebecca and Ryan where we came across a flight simulator which was super cool to see. I've explored a lot of the abandoned buildings in Downtown St. Louis and even almost got arrested for trespassing when the owner of the building seen us on the roof! The three of us took a road trip to Ohio where we know the good boys at Swift Movement where we checked out their parkour and freerunning gym and where I got this really cool picture of a squirrel.
Then don't forget about the bad days because I don't know about you but I definitely get them and sometimes they suck extra bad! Like, have you ever been or felt trapped? Like you had two choices and depending on the one you picked would either complicate life even more than what it possibly already is or it could be the best choice you could take, but the situation is so intense and adrenaline rushing you don't know what to do? Well, I have felt that for sure which I don't know if it was the right thing to do or not, but in the end I have to do what I have to do and hopefully you do too. What about money? Who struggles with money? I feel like everyone does regardless if you have money or don't have money, we all struggle in different ways. I will admit that I struggle with money all the time, I feel like it's been ever since I got my first job. Sure, things were different and even the past couple months money has been really tight! Which really sucked because it put a damper on my Wandering Wednesday's which effects me differently than like when I lost my car due to someone hitting me while I was in the turning lane. Like, that makes me depressed. It's much more deeper than maybe not enough money to eat but I enjoy making these videos and making a blog post similar to it. I got to points where I didn't eat, where I did more sleeping than what I should have, and sometimes wanted to quit.
But! There's one thing that I really freaking enjoy and that's making these blog posts, making the vlogs to go with them and everything my website offers! Through this blog I have met some really awesome people and seen some super shway things! Considering all the bad like when I had a really bad tooth bothering me for almost a month because I had to wait till my dental insurance kicked in from work. Even when I had the best day of my life when I went to my first comic con with some buddies and visited the Greatest Shop Ever where I worked a freelance gig - big shout out to those guys! Basically what I'm saying, whatever it is that you love so much just keep doing that! As long as you keep up with it no matter what happens in life, that one love will always bring you to something that's worth fighting for! With all that said, that brings to me this Wandering Wednesday! I am still fighting with the insurance company of the girl who hit me which hasn't been an easy battle! It's been nearly a month and I think I'm about to give up on that, take the settlement and get my car fixed so I can continue with life because not having a car is already a huge inconvenience but at this point I'd rather have a car, plus I'm not one to rely on others which it's good to have genuine people in your life. So I haven't been out at all to work on Wandering Wednesday, I actually thought about making up some excuse to not have Wandering Wednesday even though not having a car may have been a good one, maybe? What do you think? So, being stuck at the apartment alone made a good opportunity to clean it, do my laundry, and catch-up on some work.
I know I can get bad sometimes when it comes to cleaning but I'm lazy, I'll totally admit it plus I don't think anyone is in any hurry to clean an entire apartment of five alone. Spring cleaning came pretty early for me this year and I believe the school kids are on spring break now? Anyhow! I decided to make a vlog of me doing just that, spring cleaning which took most of the day because I did this whole apartment alone from sweeping and mopping to throwing old clothes in a bag for a future video! I did my laundry, caught up on some work, had lunch with Ryan and his dad and restaurant hopped to another to meet Rebecca. Oh! I also had to actually film me doing the actions and then "actually" clean - haha. I love the beauty of making a story because so much goes into it that people don't realize and if you're a creator then you know what I mean. Considering I have been car less which really put me behind because I had a lot of meetings with some local businesses for some work but I figured make the best of what I have and make cleaning fun - haha! Is there something like maybe a chore you just hate doing and always purposely put to the side? Let me know in the comments because I really wanna know! Anyhow, without further ado, please check out the VLOG below on some early spring cleaning!
PS: Be sure to read the description in the vlog for a special read, hopefully it helps.
