City says, "Performing Arts Studio"
It's been awhile since I've gotten a chance to sleep in which felt really nice, it's been getting up at 8:30AM every single day for the past week with about a few hours of sleep, so sleeping in till 11:11AM felt super nice, well rested for the long and productive day ahead! I had a yummy goodness breakfast club for breakfast while we waited for Rebecca to get home from work and shortly busted out to what will become a performing arts studio which now remains abandoned. I'm not sure what it was at one point however the place is massive and has so much color and texture, it was a perfect place to get some shots of all of us in some Greatest Shop Ever apparel! If you haven't seen those guys be sure to check them out when I visited about two weeks ago! If you're ever curious of what it's like to hang out with them or go through a transaction then be sure to peek at the VLOG and go say, "hi" to the dudes! Tell them, "Jeremy sent me". I really didn't do much research on this place that we explored and we really didn't get to explore a lot of it due to an older gentleman telling us if we go in or he sees anyone going in he's to call the police. That is such a shame because this place has a lot of potential for some great content because there is so much color and tones and some crazy textures and depth of field! We did go in the building just a little but we didn't want to press our luck so we ended up leaving which in good time because Ryan's mom called us to get some lunch while she was in the area.

You Don't Want to Look..But You Still Want To
There is this Western-themed restaurant & bar providing American food, frequent live music, outdoor seating, and a super bad-ass train that circles the restaurant in West Port Plaza in Maryland Heights. There are a couple locations which the second Trainwreck opened April in 1991 which is the one in West Port where it reminiscent of the saloon in the old cowboy movie! If you haven't seen the movie I totally recommend it, I'm not one for that genre but It was interesting comparing the two. You'll definitely get the feel with the swinging saloon doors, planted floors, and of course the model train that circles the bar. Over the years the restaurant delivers on its reputation with venues which may I add, the most popular live music and even happy hour! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who's wanting to know any good restaurants in St. Louis. The location is super easy to find being it's neighbor is Starbucks. I don't know about you, but I enjoy a good java or a hot chocolate from Starbucks. Let me start with the positive: The Cobb salad at Trainwreck is amazing! The hostess was amazing and kind when she sat us down and shortly after our waitress arrived. Dawn ordered the wings and that is the only thing she gets from here, because they are just super yummy goodness! I tried one myself and I have never had a wing that tasted so good, I mean..there was no need for any commandments it was so good! As to service, I ran out of water and I didn't have to ask nor hunt anyone down, our waitress came and refilled, which is super awesome! I know it gets super busy so her just keeping an eye on us just means the world. Although, we aren't perfect which is super OK however we did wait a good bit before our lady came over and asked if we were ready to order and get our food, I remember well because Scotty had to go teach a class so we were crunching on some time towards the end of our meals.
Flip In, Flip Out
After our dinner with some of the family we made it to an open gym at Flip Side Gymnastics in St. Charles county where most people take their kids for gymnastic classes where the open gym allows anyone including walk-ins to take advantage of the whole gym for an hour and half to do whatever your heart desires. I speak for myself and including anyone else who practices parkour and freerunning this may not be a place you really wanna go to drill certain movements but keep in mind, this is a gymnastics center so their main target market is small adults not someone who is my age, 31! When it comes to their gymnastics niche they are very passionate about their students gaining confidence because it's been proven that children with confidence are more successful in life. They make their classes fun, easy going but yet emphasize on developing their core life skills like building self-esteem and self-confidence especially at young age, which where kids soak in all the learning like a sponge. I feel the discipline is a huge factor that Flip Side implements into their classes which will teach the kids more than they'll ever need in class and even outside of class, like in every day life increasing focus, concentration, and developing a positive attitude. Although they do focus in gymnastics you will see some parkour athletes attend the open gym which is cheap, 5$ cash only! Not only is the place good to drill your flips, aerial awareness, and muscle memory because they have two large foam filled pits with 2 pit bars for all those landings that could break a leg outside, two full competition spring floors for those soft landings while practicing your vaults, five high balance beams and four low balance beams for drilling flow and precision. A really cool thing I like is the cubbies they have in the loft where parents can sit at the bleachers while watching their kids learn and grow. It's not a bad place to visit if you already know what you're doing with your training but do keep in mind, they focus in gymnastics. I have been coming here for a very long time..like since 2011 and every visit is rememberable because everyone here is very personable and I always see a familiar face! I still come back to this day because it has a warm and home sweet home feel to it and everyone is very welcoming. My only complaint here is that there are so many kids who's parents are using the gym as maybe a babysitter which I get from a parent stand point however people are there to train and drill their profession so having soccer balls and frisbees thrown all over kinda gets in the way, which I also understand I'm 31 and I may be stepping on some toes considering but in all, it is a gymnastics center. If you really don't know if this is for you or skeptical then head over to their website and take advantage of their free trial class!
